DIGITAL PET PAINTINGS FROM YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
Pet portraits can be important for a variety of reasons. For pet owners, having a portrait of their beloved animal can be a way to honor and remember them, particularly if the pet has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. A portrait can capture the unique personality and characteristics of the pet, serving as a cherished memento for years to come.
Additionally, pet portraits can be a way to celebrate the special bond between humans and animals. Pets are often considered members of the family, and a portrait can be a way to acknowledge their importance and value in our lives. Portraits can also serve as a meaningful gift for pet owners, particularly for those who are passionate about their animals.

Digital Painter
Barry Cohen is a Frisco, Texas based photographer who has been perfecting his craft for over forty years. Right out of high school, Barry began pursuing his passion for photography by studying as an apprentice in Stamford, Connecticut. After a few years of training, learning, and developing his skills, Barry opened up his own studio in Stamford. Barry worked in his studio for over 20 years, and while in Stamford, he also owned and operated a photo finishing lab. Since moving to Frisco, Barry has continued to produce beautiful photography as well as working as a Canon specialist; educating and promoting the Canon SLR lines.
Over the many years Barry has photographed many different subjects, but his favorite work has always been the natural wonders of the world. However, a few years ago, Barry stumbled upon another passion, digital painting of pets. Soon after his first pet portrait, Barry began focusing more on his new furry subjects. Barry believes that, “there is just something special about man’s best friend that has compelled me to dedicate my talents to this end. That wonderful look of devotion in a dog’s eyes, that shine and sparkle and say “I would do anything for my master,” is what I look to portray.”
Recently, Barry has elevated his photographic talents to a higher level; combining his natural creativity along with his new found digital abilities. Barry brings new dimension to his portraits, turning them into magnificent Giclee Digital Paintings. Your favorite photograph can be beautifully re-mastered into a digitally assisted Painting for you to treasure.
Barry is passionate about creating unique pieces that bring enjoyment to people, so please take a look around his gallery.
